Job summary

THE EXTRACARE CHARITABLE TRUST is recruiting a Care Assistant at Solihull Retirement Village in the West Midlands. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, with a fixed hourly rate of £13.64 and a 7-day rota including weekends.

You will deliver domiciliary care on-site, support residents’ wellbeing, and maintain accurate records in line with policy. The post emphasises teamwork, flexibility, and compassionate, quality care.

Hours: 30-hour permanent contract

Shifts: All Care Assistants will need to be fully flexible across a 7-day rota system, which will be given in advance and will be expected to work weekends as required to meet the needs of the domiciliary care service. Early Shifts starting at 7am and late shifts ending at 22pm).

Salary: £13.64 per hour
