The job role is for a Care Assistant position at Southlands Place, a 71-bedded Nursing, Dementia, and Residential care home in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex. The home is rated 'Good' by the CQC and has a 9.5 rating on Carehome.co.uk. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to the residents in their everyday lives.

Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities, such as personal care, mobility, and medication administration. You will work closely with the nursing and care team to ensure the residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met. The role involves full-time work (36-48 hours per week) on a rotational shift pattern, including night shifts and alternate weekends.
