Job summary

Responsibilities

• managing patient and hospital correspondence
• managing the patient tracking list and booking appointments all to support the patient’s journey
• working with consultants, nurses and pharmacists to provide high quality care to patients
• work with the Service Manager/Delivery Manager or Senior Patient Care Coordinator (line manager) to ensure that administrative processes for the patient pathway meet the quality standards required both nationally and within the directorate
• support with improving the service and administrative pathways by offering prompt and professional communication with patients and other healthcare providers, as well as booking responsibility, managing the attendance of patients and typing clinical letters
