Job summary

Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery - Patient Pathway Coordinator to manage day-to-day administrative tasks in the CTC based in Basildon. You will coordinate referrals, bookings, waiting lists, and RTT targets to ensure timely delivery of cancer pathways and elective procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining clinic templates, organising schedules, updating patient records on EPR systems, and acting as a point of contact for patients and clinicians.

• Coordinate patient details and bookings for the Cardiothoracic Surgery department.
• Maintain clinic templates, and organise clinic and pre-assessment schedules.
• Manage and validate waiting lists in line with RTT and Cancer targets.
• Update patient records on EPR systems and provide regular reports on waiting times and service performance.
