Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly organised Patient Pathway Co-ordinator to support the Breast Surgery Department at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. The role focuses on managing administrative processes from referral to treatment, ensuring Cancer Waiting Time targets are met while supporting the multidisciplinary team and clinic operations.

You will provide admin and typing support, cover for colleagues during leave, and help monitor SOPs and data in the Trust's information systems to

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Administrative and typing experience.
• Ability to validate patient pathways to meet access targets.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage administrative processes of patient pathways from referral to treatment.
• Provide admin support to the Breast Surgery department and multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure Cancer Waiting Time targets (2WW/18-week) are met.
• Provide cover for other administration managers during periods of annual leave.
• Monitor clinic capacity and use of CRS/eRS, and ensure timely typing and documentation.
• Implement SOPs and contribute to SOP development.
