Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cardiology Diagnostic Booking Coordinator on a fixed-term 12-month contract to support the CDC team. The role requires multitasking, strong communication, and clerical/administrative experience in a hospital or NHS setting.

You will deliver high-quality front-line customer care, handle patient enquiries, and coordinate diagnostic bookings within the Cardiology service, with opportunities for continuation depending on service needs.

Qualifications

• Good general education with at least 5 GCSEs or O levels or equivalent.
• Admin NVQ level or equivalent required.
• Experience in administration within public sector or NHS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient enquiries and book diagnostic appointments with accuracy.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Cardiology service.
• Be the lead point of contact for patient complaints and queries.
• Support physiologists and the diagnostics team in clerical tasks.
