Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cardiology Operations Manager (12-month fixed term/secondment). The role focuses on delivering RTT performance targets, reducing backlog, and ensuring optimal use of Cardiology diagnostic resources in a busy outpatient setting.

You will lead, motivate and empower colleagues, oversee service delivery, and contribute to planning and capacity management within Division D of Cardiology.

Qualifications

• First Degree or equivalent professional qualification (A/I).
• Recognised management qualification (A/I).
• Postgraduate qualification in health service management (A/I).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality business and operational support to the Division/speciality and contribute to strategy implementation.
• Pursue continuous development and improvement of services to facilitate delivery of clinical services.
• Support the division in capacity management and performance targets.
