Job summary

Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Clinical Physiologist for the Heart and Chest department (Cardiorespiratory). The role involves echocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, and other cardiac investigations.

You should hold a BSc in Clinical Physiology and seek AHCS registration while maintaining CPD. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to patient care, and help train apprentice and student Physiologists within the department.

Qualifications

• Hold a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Be or be willing to gain AHCS registration.
• Maintain CPD and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures to a specialist level.
• Work effectively within a wide multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain clinical documentation and databases with accuracy and timeliness.
