Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in Eastbourne is seeking three Band 6 cardiac physiologists for our Cardiac Physiology Department. Roles include Echocardiography and Pacing/EP and catheter lab duties; newly qualified physiologists will be considered.

You will train and assist with ECG, Holter analysis, pacemaker follow-up and follow-up procedures, along with cardiac catheter lab work, exercise stress testing, tilt testing and Echocardiography.

Qualifications

• Three Band 6 cardiac physiologists required.
• Newly qualified physiologists will be considered.
• In-house training toward specialist qualification in Pacing or Echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist with ECG, Holter analysis, pacemaker/ICD follow-up.
• Assist with cardiac catheter lab procedures and exercise stress testing.
• Perform tilt testing and Echocardiography as required.
• Support development into specialist roles.
