Job summary

Motorpoint, the UK’s leading omnichannel car retailer of nearly new cars, is hiring a Sales Executive in Widnes. The role offers £20,000 basic with uncapped commission and realistic OTE of £40,000–£50,000. 40 hours per week, permanent contract, 5 days out of 7 with weekend shifts.

You will greet customers, provide a no-pressure sales service, present quotes, upsell finance and products, and hit monthly targets while delivering exceptional service and liaising with other departments.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous sales experience is essential.
• Ability to work towards monthly targets.
• Weekend work will be required.
• Experience selling financial products would be beneficial; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and build rapport with customers arriving at store.
• Deliver a no-pressure sales service to identify customer needs.
• Complete face-to-face quotes on vehicles in line with customer needs.
• Upsell relevant products and finance where relevant.
• Work towards monthly, individual and team targets.
• Complete handover with customers ensuring high level of service.
• Liaise with key departments to ensure outstanding service and manage expectations.

The Role: Sales Executive

Salary: £20,000 basic plus an uncapped performance based commission structure (realistic OTE of £40,000- £50,000)

Location: Widnes

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, with two consecutive days off during the week. Weekend working is required

Our Sales Executives are vital to our business growth and ensuring our customers get a first-class service. As a Sales Executive you will help us to shake off all of those outdated car industry clichés and help us drive into the fast lane towards becoming the most desired car retailer.

What will you be getting up to?

• Meet, greet and build a natural rapport with customers arriving at store
• Deliver a no-pressure sales service to customers to identify and anticipate needs
• Complete face-to-face quotes on chosen and recommended vehicles in line with customer's needs
• Upsell relevant products and finance where relevant
• Work towards monthly, individual and team targets
• Complete the handover process with customers ensuring a high level of customer service
• Liaise with other key departments to ensure our customers receive outstanding levels of service, whilst managing their expectations

What do we need from you?

• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Previous sales experience is essential
• Ability to work towards monthly targets
• Experience selling financial products would be beneficial however training will be provided
• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers quickly
• Ability to be flexible as weekend work will be required
