Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Worcester. This is a rare opportunity to join a settled, well-established team in a busy, high-volume site. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and excellent with our customers.

The hours of work are Monday to Saturday (8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays), with a day off during the week and working 10am to 4pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of £55,000.

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you’ll ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. It’s about matching the right car with the customer and providing features and add-ons to suit their needs. From financing to contracts, you’ll aim for total customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Role And Responsibilities
  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  • Maximize opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound inquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet inquiries.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximize profit.
  • Adhere to FCA and data protection obligations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.
About You
  • This role may suit someone with experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager.
  • You should demonstrate an ability and track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • Potential to build a successful career in the industry.
  • Hold a valid UK driver’s license.
  • Motor trade, automotive, or dealership experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
