Job summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and family-run multi-franchise approved car dealer group in the Chippenham area, for a highly motivated and professional Used Car Sales Executive. This role offers a basic salary of £18,000 per annum and an uncapped OTE of £50,000+ based on sales performance, plus a personal company car.

Additional benefits include 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays, with holiday in lieu for any worked), a workplace pension scheme,

Qualifications

• Previous car sales experience is beneficial.
• Strong track record in customer-facing retail sales.
• Passion for cars and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.

• Sell used cars, accessories, add-ons, finance and insurance products to customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through excellent service.
• Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery progress and delays.
• Explain warranty and service plans; introduce customers to the service department.

Duties of a Car Sales Executive:

• Sell used cars, alongside accessories, add-ons, finance, and insurance products to customers
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through excellent customer service
• Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery progress and delays
• Resolve customer queries and collect payments prior to vehicle handover
• Explain warranty, service plans, and introduce customers to the Service Department as appropriate
• Demonstrate vehicle features, promote additional products, and support customers throughout the sales process
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction

Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

• Previous or current car sales experience is highly beneficial
• Strong track record in customer-facing retail sales with a passion for cars
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and results-driven approach
• Professional attitude, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships
