Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Capability Analyst to join the team in Derby, in this role you will assist with the talent and capability development of the Digital and IT function while supporting with the day-to-day management of building 9001 ensuring that it remains within the HSE thresholds for the site.

Responsibilities
  • You will be liaising with the early careers lead to ensure that all of the placements for the early careers cohorts are documented, measurable and that the cohorts' programmes are running smoothly
  • Ensuring the cohorts are meeting targets and achieving deliverables set for them
  • Dealing with any general administrative issues for the cohorts
  • Documenting and tracking skills and capabilities for the broader Digital and IT function
  • Conducting risk assessments for Building 9001 and maintaining key HSE documentation
  • Owning the Emergency Response Plan for the building, coordinating and motivating the team of fire marshals, first aiders and other emergency response roles
  • Carrying out administrative duties pertaining to the 9001 building such as scheduling of fire drills, maintenance works, training, evacuation tests, business continuity tests
Preferred Requirements

We are looking for someone with a passion for developing people and for someone who is passionate about health and safety and who will take a pragmatic approach to dealing with this across the function Must be able to be trained in:

  • First Aid
  • Fire marshal
  • Mental Health roles
  • Risk assessments
  • Incident Control
