Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer Services Manager to coordinate and implement their cancer services transformation, aligning with national reporting and performance requirements. The role requires collaboration across tumor sites and cancer specialties.

You will lead across the Trust with senior clinical and nursing leaders, driving complex projects and improvements while supporting executive leadership. The Trust emphasizes NHS benefits and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years NHS general management experience.
• Previous experience of working within cancer specialties.
• Experience of workforce planning.
• Experience of capacity planning.
• Proven track record of implementing service change and modernising service delivery.
• Significant experience of managing clinical staff and developing team working across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide Trust-wide leadership with the Clinical Lead for Cancer and Lead Cancer Nurse to oversee cancer services across the Trust.
• Lead strategic projects for cancer sites and services, often with external partners.
• Support the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and clinical divisional teams to meet objectives.

Education

Degree or equivalent

Postgraduate Health or Management qualification or Master’s level experience
