Job summary

University of Cumbria seeks an experienced Student Enquiry Point Coordinator for our Ambleside campus. You will act as a central point of expertise for complex student enquiries and support the Gateway Manager in guiding Campus Assistants, ensuring a high-quality, coordinated student experience.

You will collaborate across university services to deliver seamless support, drive improvements, and contribute to a welcoming campus environment.

Qualifications

• Have significant experience in student services, customer service or a related environment.
• Demonstrate an understanding of student support processes and needs within higher education.
• Experience of university operations and student community.
• Be confident handling complex or sensitive enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Have experience supporting or supervising colleagues and contributing to a high-performing team.
• Be proactive, organised and committed to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Act as a central point of expertise for complex student enquiries.
• Working with the Gateway Manager to support and guide Campus Assistants, contributing to team coordination and service quality.
