Job summary

Multitask Personnel is hiring a Call Centre Agent in Doncaster to contact energy customers, arrange Smart Meter installation appointments, and work toward KPI targets in a target-driven environment. The role offers a blended workload with calls and support tasks, and a clear path to permanent employment after 16 weeks.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a scheduled Saturday shift on a rotating basis, and two days per week from home as part of hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills; able to handle objections and stay positive.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls using a dialer to engage customers and secure bookings.

Call Centre Agent - Outbound Calling

Location: Doncaster
Start Date: Monday 9th November
Contract: 16 weeks temporary to permanent
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: £13.45 per hour + quarterly performance bonus
Hybrid Working: Minimum 2 days per week working from home

Multitask Personnel are pleased to be working with a leading utilities provider within the smart metering industry. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting multiple Call Centre Agents to join their busy outbound team in Doncaster.

This is a 16-week temp-to-perm opportunity, with the chance to secure a permanent position following successful completion of the temporary period.

The Role

As a Call Centre Agent, you will speak with existing energy customers to arrange Smart Meter Installation appointments. You will work within a target-driven environment where your communication skills, confidence and ability to overcome objections will be key.

Your duties will include:

• Making outbound calls using a blended dialler to engage customers and secure bookings.
• Speaking confidently with customers and overcoming objections.
• Handling inbound calls and responding to customer queries.
• Arranging and rescheduling Smart Meter Installation appointments.
• Working towards individual and team KPIs and performance targets.
• Taking part in regular coaching and development sessions with your Team Leader.
• Working closely with colleagues to share ideas and good practice.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within sales, telesales, outbound calling or another target-driven environment.

• Experience working towards KPIs or sales targets.
• Good computer skills and the ability to work across different systems.
• A motivated attitude and the ability to work well in a busy environment.

Hours & Hybrid Working

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift in five.

Weekday shifts are worked on a rota between:

• 8.00am to 4.30pm
• 9.30am to 6.00pm
• 11.30am to 8.00pm

The office closes at 4.30pm, so later shifts after this time are completed from home.

Saturday shifts are 9.00am to 5.00pm and are also worked from home.

The role offers hybrid working, with at least two days per week working from home.

Pay & Benefits

• £13.45 per hour.
