Job summary

Tesco Cafes is hiring for a Team Member in our on-site cafe. You will cook, serve and engage with customers, ensuring every dish meets safety standards and our menu quality. You’ll keep equipment clean, assist with stock and maintain a welcoming dining area.

Qualifications

• A commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practise FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and handle safe storage of food.
• Resolve customer queries and assist the Caf Manager.
• Prepare, cook and serve food according to the menu.
• Ensure products are available and standards are maintained.
• Know the cafs menu inside out and serve as intended.
• Staying up-to-date with communications and initiatives.
