Tesco Cafes are hiring a Team Member to join our busy cafe. You’ll help with cooking, serving customers and keeping the cafe clean, while following safety standards and the menu.

This role offers flexible hours, progression opportunities and a wide range of staff benefits. Minimum 8 guaranteed hours per week, with shifts scheduled in advance and an emphasis on teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and keep a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Perform FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Receive deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items.
• Ensure cafe standards and products are in stock.
• Know the cafe menu and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer queries and inform the Café Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and new ideas.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
