Job summary

Tesco Cafes is looking for a friendly Team Member to join our cafe. You’ll help with cooking, serving customers, and keeping the cafe clean while following safety standards.

This role offers flexible hours and opportunities for progression, with a minimum of 8 guaranteed hours each week and shifts scheduled with three weeks' notice. Be a great communicator and enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep records.
• Practise FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Prepare, cook and serve food according to the caf menu.
• Resolve customer complaints and report to Caf Manager.
