Job summary

Tesco Cafes in the United Kingdom is looking for a Team Member to join our caf team. You will help with cooking, serving customers, and keeping the kitchen and dining area clean, while following safety standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a great customer experience every day. The role offers flexible working hours, opportunities for progression, and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and maintain records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
• Maintain standards and ensure availability of food items.
• Stay informed about the menu and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and pass information to the Caf Manager.
• Stay up-to-date with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables for a tidy cafe.
