Job summary

Tesco Cafés is seeking a Team Leader to drive smooth cafe operations, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will support the Cafe Manager and help the team provide an exemplary experience for customers across our nationwide cafes.

Seeking someone with hospitality experience, a passion for service, and strong Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge to help maintain safety standards and an inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• A background in hospitality, with Team/Shift Leader experience.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational and safety standards.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are met.
• Lead by example with excellent customer service.
• Open and close the cafe and oversee operations in the Manager's absence.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Seek ways to continually improve our service for customers.
• Promote an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected and safe.
