Job summary

Vale of Glamorgan Council seeks an experienced Catering Supervisor for The Pier Pavilion Cafe in Penarth. You will lead a cost-efficient catering service, ensuring high food quality and excellent customer service while managing day-to-day operations at the café.

The role is full-time and permanent (Grade 5, SCP 8-12), 37 hours per week, with a salary of £27,709–£29,542. Strong leadership and cost-control skills are essential.

About us

The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government's Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. In addition to this, we also provide a high quality Buffet/Function service to our schools, Café at the Penarth Pier Pavilion, weddings, external customers and companies.
