The Vale of Glamorgan Council's Big Fresh Catering Company is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Manager for St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School. The role covers daily kitchen operations, staff supervision, and delivering high-quality school meals to around 1100 meals daily.

The position is 35 hours per week, term-time only, with a pro rata pay between £30,515 and £33,119. It is a permanent appointment under Grade 6 SCP14-19, located at St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School.

Formación

• At least 2 years practical cooking experience in a busy catering environment within the last 3 years.
• Ability to supervise staff to achieve the service objectives.
• Ability to plan and organise the kitchen to its full potential.
• Be able to use their own initiative in the day to day running of the kitchen.

About the role

Pay Details: Grade 6 SCP14-19 £30,515 - £33,119 Pro Rata

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 Days - 35 hrs per week, term time only

Main Place of Work: St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School

Temporary Reason: Permanent
