Job summary

Morrisons is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to lead its in-store cafe at An Aird in Fort William. You will be responsible for daily cafe operations, staff rotas, training, stock control and food safety, while ensuring friendly customer service and a welcoming environment.

The role requires strong leadership, hospitality experience and the ability to drive sales targets while maintaining high standards across the cafe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy hospitality or cafe environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to motivate staff.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and stock control.
• Ability to organise workloads and staff rotas.
• Proven track record in achieving operational targets and delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the daily operation of the Morrisons cafe.
• Lead and motivate colleagues to provide friendly and attentive customer service.
• Report to the Store Manager and manage staff rotas and daily working arrangements.
• Train and support colleagues to develop their skills and confidence.
• Oversee food safety procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Monitor stock availability and manage ordering requirements.
• Help the team meet sales and operational targets.
• Maintain an organised, efficient and welcoming cafe environment.
