Job summary

Morrisons Café is seeking a proactive Café Manager to lead a welcoming team in Hawick, delivering high-quality service daily. You’ll oversee staff, stock levels, and operational flow to ensure every customer leaves satisfied.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll schedule shifts, coach colleagues, and drive performance while collaborating with other store departments to achieve sales targets and a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced food or hospitality environment.

• Put customers first: empower your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, listening to customer feedback to make sure our Café is always a warm, welcoming place to pop by.
• Lead and support your team: manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to succeed and grow.
• Drive performance and standards: lead an encouraging, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly: plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
