A regional police force is seeking Police Support Volunteers to assist in developing cadets in active citizenship. This voluntary role involves coaching cadets, supporting community activities, and mentoring youth. No prior policing experience is required, but a commitment of 4 hours per shift is essential. Candidates should be over 18 and possess supervision and organizational skills. This role provides a valuable opportunity to contribute positively to the community while gaining insights into policing.
This is an amazing voluntary opportunity at either Derby, Ripley, Chesterfield or Glossop, and a great way to learn more about policing, with training provided.
You’ll be passing along the information you learn about police procedure, criminal law and crime prevention to our cadets, and take part in team building activities and local community events.
You will be a vital member of the cadet team, coaching, supporting and helping our cadets to develop their character and confidence, while building up your own!
