Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of non-food products within the FMCG sector
  • Regularly review product ranges using best-in-class category management practices
  • Use insights from market trends, customer data, supplier innovation, and internal stakeholders to inform product strategies
  • Develop and deliver detailed category and range management plans aligned with company goals
  • Plan and manage seasonal stock to align with forecasted demand fluctuations
  • Monitor product performance by tracking volume, margin, and market share; adjust strategies as required to meet targets
  • Conduct competitor pricing analysis and review supplier costs to maintain competitive positioning
  • Negotiate purchase terms in line with company policies, including pricing, discounts, bonuses, and promotional offers
  • Ensure the right value-for-money product offering aligned with brand positioning
