We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Officer to join the Housing Complaints and Quality Assurance Team within a South East London local authority. This is a key role supporting the delivery of an effective, high-quality complaints and assurance service in a busy public sector environment.
You will provide comprehensive administrative and business support, helping to ensure that housing complaints, Members' enquiries and compensation-related tasks are managed efficiently and within required timescales.
A core part of the role will involve processing compensation payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and producing performance and monitoring reports.
You will also support quality assurance processes, assist with system administration, and help colleagues use complaints and casework management systems effectively.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills, good IT and reporting ability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
