Job Description:

Sphera Solutions, a worldwide leader in environmental health and safety technology, is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Representative with a proactive, sales-oriented mindset to join our rapidly growing sales team. Responsibilities include following up on marketing inquiries and prospecting for new business opportunities to set appointments for our global sales team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values hard work and fun. Training will be provided through virtual sessions, peer meetings, and live practice to support your sales journey.

This is a full-time position with a base salary plus uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business through outbound calls, emails, and social media to engage and set appointments with potential clients.
  • Follow up promptly on inquiries from marketing campaigns.
  • Use consultative sales techniques to analyze client needs related to automation solutions.
  • Utilize technology to nurture leads not yet ready to purchase.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about Sphera solutions, sales strategies, and industry trends.
  • Achieve or surpass daily activity and sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, self-directed sales environment.
  • Experience in client sales, especially over the phone and cold calling, is advantageous.
  • Confident and engaging communication skills.
  • Adaptability and resilience in handling challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of successful sales experience, especially in solution-based selling or SaaS products.
  • Experience in B2B sales is preferred.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a team setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.com is preferred.
  • Fluent in German and English.
