Job summary

Freightserve recruitment seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth with Heathrow freight forwarders. You will meet clients, coordinate with overseas offices and expand existing accounts, while targeting new business and managing the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities include presenting products, negotiating contracts and hitting monthly or annual targets in a dynamic freight environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales within freight forwarding.
• Ability to sell Air, Road and Ocean freight.
• Strong field sales experience.

Duties

• Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits
• Liaising with overseas offices
• Building up suspects and converting them to prospects
• Profiling customers
• Demonstrating and presenting products
• Hunting for new business
• Managing and growing existing clients
• Managing sales leads program
• Maintaining accurate sales records
• Attending trade exhibitions, conferences & meetings
• Reviewing sales performance
• Negotiating contracts with customers and closing the contract
• Working towards monthly or annual targets.

Requirements

• Field sales experience in freight forwarding
• Ability to sales all products including Air, Road and Oceanfreight
• Strong field sales experience.
