Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonus up to £12k per annum, along with a car and benefits.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting, wide-ranging opportunity working for a group of 10 global manufacturers with operations in America, Asia, and Europe. The business manufactures test and measurement equipment, providing solutions to sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare, sold via distribution partners across these territories.

The Role

This role focuses on developing the UK market strategy for sales through distribution partners across various segments, along with expanding the European footprint. You will nurture existing relationships and analyze market trends, product offerings, and pricing to inform product management and sales strategies. You will shape sales strategies at the country level across Europe and work with local sales teams to optimize potential.

The Applicant

You should have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions, or at least be technically persuasive. You will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in business development and growth strategies for emerging markets. Experience in export or international sales, with flexibility for international travel, is essential. Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple decision-makers across countries is advantageous.
