Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonus up to £12k per annum, car, and benefits.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity working for a group of 10 global manufacturers with operations in America, Asia, and Europe. The business manufactures test and measurement equipment with associated services, serving sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare, sold via distribution partners across these territories.

The Role

The role involves developing and implementing market strategies for sales through distribution partners in the UK and across Europe. It includes nurturing existing relationships, conducting market and gap analysis, assessing trends and future opportunities, and providing feedback to product and sales teams. You will shape sales strategies at the country level and collaborate with local sales teams across Europe to optimize potential.

The Applicant

You should have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions or be technically inclined. You need to be a strategic thinker with experience in business development and growth strategies in immature markets. A background in export or international sales, with flexibility for international travel, is essential. Experience working within a matrix organization across different countries and decision-makers is advantageous.
