Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonus up to £12k per annum, along with a car and benefits.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity working for a group of 10 global manufacturers with operations across America, Asia, and Europe. The company manufactures test and measurement equipment and related services, serving sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare. These products are sold through distribution partners across these regions.

The Role

The role focuses on developing sales strategies for the UK market through distribution partners in various business segments, as well as expanding the European footprint. You will nurture existing relationships and analyze market trends, product offerings, and pricing to inform product management and sales strategies. You will shape sales strategies at the country level across Europe and collaborate with local sales teams to maximize potential.

The Applicant

You should have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions, or at least be technically persuasive. You will be a strategic thinker with experience in business development and growth strategies in emerging markets. A background in export or international sales and flexibility for extensive travel are essential. Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple decision-makers across countries is advantageous.
