Are you a driven, relationship-focused sales professional with a passion for luxury hospitality?

At Meliá Hotels International, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager – Luxury Europe (Based in London) to join our Global Sales team. You’ll manage key global accounts, negotiate high-impact contracts, and help shape the future of business travel at one of the world's most prestigious hotel groups.

Competitive Salary plus Bonus

Responsibilities include:
  • Drive Business Growth: Partner with the Luxury Brands Sales Senior Director to define and implement strategic sales plans targeting high-value corporate and consortia accounts across Europe.
  • Represent Meliá: Promote our global portfolio at meetings, events, and trade shows, and through trusted travel partners, agencies, airlines, associations, and networks.
  • Own the RFP Process: Lead negotiations to ensure our hotels are featured in client travel programs, maximizing revenue.
  • Build Long-Term Relationships: Serve as the main contact for your global accounts, understanding their needs and matching them with Meliá’s offerings.
  • Collaborate: Work with hotel sales managers and fellow BDMs to create aligned strategies.
  • Increase Brand Visibility: Organize familiarization trips, promotional campaigns, and maintain effective sales materials.
  • Use Data: Analyze account performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies for better results.
Requirements:
  • Based in London
  • 3+ years in a similar hospitality sales role
  • Background in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Development
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Experience with CRM and sales data tools
  • Strategic, negotiation, and relationship skills
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, passionate about luxury hospitality
  • Knowledge of corporate travel and consortia landscape
  • Ability to identify new revenue opportunities and build high-value partnerships
  • Insightful about emerging trends
