Business Development Manager – Height Safety Systems

Location: Northwest (Hybrid work available)

Remuneration: £30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus

Benefits: 25 days annual leave, pension

Responsibilities
  • Act as an internal sales professional selling the installation of height safety systems.
  • Target property and facility managers, contractors, and end users such as schools and commercial clients.
  • Monitor and manage a pipeline of ongoing and upcoming tenders.
  • Consult with clients to understand their requirements and propose appropriate solutions for projects.
  • Track and follow up on quotes sent out by the estimating team.
  • Handle project sizes ranging from £25,000 to £1m.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong B2B sales experience, ideally with a sub‑contractor.
  • Experience selling height safety solutions or in a related industry such as fire, security, lighting protection, electrical etc.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot software is a plus.
  • Hungry and motivated to succeed.
  • Strong computer fluency.
  • Confident on the phone with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
