Brown and Wills Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Facade and Cladding Project Manager to lead external envelope packages for commercial and public sector projects in the Northwest. The role focuses on managing façade packages including glazing, curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and related systems, with emphasis on collaboration and safe site practices.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with main contractors or façade specialists, possess UK regulatory knowledge, and hold SMSTS,

Qualifications

• Track record in main contractor or façade/cladding contractor.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations for façades and cladding.
• Solution-oriented communicator with collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Valid site certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid; IT literate; Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Owns a range of façade packages for projects.
• Directs and coordinates subcontractors and design reviews.
• Reviews design/technical aspects and ensures QA and safety at height.
• Works within a leading façade/cladding contractor environment on Northwest projects.

Job description

A new and interesting opportunity is available for a Facade and Cladding Project Manager to join a leading contractor in the delivery of specialist external envelope packages on a range of commercial and public sector projects across the Northwest.

This key role will join a build main contractor where you will take ownership of a range of façade packages, including structural glazing, curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, brick slip systems, and SFS.

Your key responsibilities will include, subcontractor interaction and direction, reviewing design and technical matters associated with said packages, QA and general safety associated with working at height.

• Have a proven track record operating either in a similar role with a main contractor or with a leading façade / cladding contractor.
• Good technical knowledge associated with cladding and façade systems, as well as the UK building regulations associated with them.
• A solution oriented communicator who focuses on collaboration, actively listening to stakeholders and articulating clear paths forward.
• Hold valid site certification including SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
