Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager - CCTV to drive high-end security solutions across the South of Birmingham. You will lead field sales of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire alarms, selling turnkey monitoring services to discerning clients including heritage properties and local authorities.

The role targets £400,000-£600,000 of new business annually with projects from £2,000 to £100,000, leveraging an in-house monitoring station and your network to win

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven field sales experience in security or related tech.
• Experience selling CCTV, intruder alarms, access control or fire alarms.
• Knowledge of NSI/FIA regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sell high-end CCTV systems and related security solutions to select clients.
• Generate new business revenue and manage projects from small to large.
• Promote in-house monitoring services and turnkey security solutions.
• Leverage your network within the security marketplace to win projects.

Remuneration: £45,000-£55,000 Neg. + £100,000 uncapped OTE

The role of the Business Development Manager - CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire Alarms will involve:

• Field sales role predominantly selling high end CCTV systems, but also intruder alarms, access control and fire alarms as well as our clients' own monitoring services from dedicated monitoring station
• Historically strong within the high net worth individual (popular in Kensington and Chelsea in particular) and heritage markets such as; castles, manor houses etc.
• Tasked with generation circa £400,000-£600,000 of new business revenue per annum
• Projects from £2,000 for small works up to £100,000 for large projects, average order £30,000
• Niche offering as our client provides its own monitoring station, which enable s in house monitoring rather than using a 3rd party
• Ideally utilising your own network of possible contacts within the industry

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire Alarms with:

• 3 years+ proven track record in field sales
• Must have sold some associated solutions to at least one of: CCTV, Intruder alarms, access control or fire alarms
• Knowledge of NSI +/or FIA regulations would be beneficial
• Ideally with a network of contacts with the fire & security marketplace
• Self-motivated/ very autonomous role
• New business hunter
• Comfortable promoting a full turn-key security solution
• Ideally electrical/ engineering qualification or experience previously in a technical role
