A cloud consultancy firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business sales. This role is fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients via video and in-person where necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, particularly in the IT consultancy sector, and a proven ability to develop new business opportunities. The position offers a basic salary of £45,000-50,000 with uncapped commission, making it a lucrative opportunity for motivated sales professionals.
This opportunity is to join a rapidly growing cloud consultancy/MSP. The business is a Microsoft Partner who specialise in cloud solutions, IT managed services, professional services, and consultancy.
They sell to mid-market and enterprise level clients (200-2,000+ users). Some of their current customer base includes FTSE 100 companies such as Informa and SITA, as well as investment firms, NHS, and international law firms.
This Business Development Manager position is a new business sales role supported by data, vendor leads, and leads directly from Microsoft (the Sales Director is an ex Microsoft employee who is very well connected).
The company provides shared offices in London that can be used for meetings, but the role is 100% fully home based (in fact, one of their sales people works from Spain). You are encouraged to meet clients, both via video and face-to-face when necessary.
Basic salary is circa £45,000-50,000 plus uncapped commission at 20% on all sales. GP is calculated at 100% (no costs deducted) on managed services.
