Business Development Manager – UK & EMEA

City, London / Hybrid

A fast-growing RegTech company is looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive expansion across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The firm provides advanced compliance solutions to financial institutions and has ambitious plans to double revenue over the next 18 months.

The Role

This position is focused on acquiring new business from both buy-side and sell-side institutions within the capital markets. You’ll take full ownership of the sales process, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, and play a key role in accelerating commercial growth across the region. It’s a high-impact role with strong long-term potential.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and convert new clients across investment firms, brokers, and banks.
  • Manage a full sales pipeline from prospecting through to signed contracts.
  • Lead conversations with senior stakeholders and uncover specific regulatory challenges.
  • Deliver effective product demonstrations and guide clients through technical and commercial discussions.
  • Monitor industry shifts and regulatory developments to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer teams to support successful onboarding.
  • Contribute to ambitious revenue growth targets through consistent performance.

Requirements

  • A solid background in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within RegTech, FinTech, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and compliance frameworks across the UK and EMEA.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and influencing senior decision-makers.
  • A track record of selling to institutional clients in a consultative and strategic manner.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • Proficient with sales tools such as HubSpot and automation platforms.
