Job summary

Lyreco Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for PPE in the South West. This field-based role involves identifying new leads, developing the PPE pipeline with Account Managers, and driving sales and margins while visiting customers up to five days a week.

You will promote our PPE safety profile, win new accounts and deliver compelling quotes and proposals. The position requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PPE sales experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of winning and developing business in PPE sales.
• Strong analytical and mathematical ability with commercial acumen.
• Confident in presenting technically viable quotes and proposals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

Business Development Manager - PPE (South West)

Field Based

Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9am -5.30pm

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with PPE Sales Experience to join our PPE Sales Team here at Lyreco. If you have experience with developing existing accounts, whilst also having a strong track record with winning new business, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

As a Business Development Manager Your Responsibilities Are

• Identify new leads and prospects to promote our Safety profile and win new accounts within the PPE sector


• Work with Account Managers to develop, manage, and analyse the PPE Pipeline for your allocated area


• Consistently achieve defined sales and margin targets through winning and implementing spend in PPE (customer size 15-150 employees)


• Attend in-person customer-facing meetings at least 4 days a week

The Ideal Business Development Manager Will

• Solid experience in identifying new leads and prospecting, promoting a Safety profile and winning new accounts within the PPE sector, with at least 3 years PPE experience in a similar role


• Proven track record of winning and developing business in a PPE customer-facing sales environment


• Strong analytical and mathematical ability, with good commercial acumen.


• Confident ability to handle and present commercially viable quotes and proposals


• Efficient communicator, both verbally and written


• A good degree of computer literacy with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge


• Have the ability to travel 5 days a week
