Job description

The Role

If you’ve got a natural gift for building rapport, spotting commercial opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term clients, this one’s for you.

We’re looking for someone who lives for new business. Someone who gets a kick out of that first connection, who enjoys the chase but knows how to land it, and who genuinely likes people (because that’s half the job).

You’ll be joining a growing, well-established business with big plans — and you’ll play a key role in driving that growth forward.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the charge on bringing in new clients, from that first chat to signed deals.
  2. Build strong, genuine relationships with prospects across the UK and Europe.
  3. Handle the full sales cycle — no handholding, just you doing what you do best.
  4. Speak to decision makers and C-suites with confidence (and without the salesy fluff).
  5. Be based in the Hertfordshire office twice a week, with some travel in the UK and overseas when needed.

People Profile

This isn’t a role for someone who waits for leads to land in their lap. We’re after someone who:

  1. Has solid B2B sales experience — ideally in FMCG, retail, or something similar.
  2. Loves connecting with people and asking the right questions.
  3. Can hold their own in a room of senior leaders (without a script).
  4. Is motivated, switched-on, and naturally curious.
  5. Has resilience, confidence, and a good sense of humour.
  6. Is happy to work flexibly, with time split between the office, home, and the occasional plane/train.
  7. Bonus points if you’ve worked across Europe or speak another language, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
