Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our dynamic sales team. The BDE will play a critical role in driving our growth by calling warm leads generated through a leading partnership source. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of our invoice finance solutions, and the ability to build relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Engage with warm leads provided through our strategic partnership. These leads have already expressed interest in our invoice finance solutions.
  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct phone calls to warm leads to introduce our services, understand their needs, and qualify them as potential clients.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects to further discuss our solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our invoice finance solutions and effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions with leads and track progress in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads and provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify additional opportunities within the target market and gather insights on industry trends.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage effectively with potential clients over the phone.
  • Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software (, Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial concepts and invoice finance.
