Job Opportunity: Business Development Executive – Nova Chef

Location: Field-based (London or Midlands) | Type: Full-Time | Sector Focus: Hospitals, Hotels, and Workplace Canteens

About Nova Chef

Nova Chef is redefining food service through intelligent technology and chef-quality frozen meals. Our proprietary smart ovens and curated meal range empower hospitality and institutional partners to deliver consistent, high-quality food with zero on-site prep. We’re growing fast—already working with leading hotel brands—and are now expanding into hospitals and workplace foodservice.

The Role

We're seeking a driven Business Development Executive to spearhead our growth in three core sectors: healthcare (NHS and private hospitals), hospitality (hotels), and workplace catering (offices, canteens, and facilities management firms). You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging key stakeholders, and closing deals that place Nova Chef at the heart of institutional dining operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage decision-makers in target sectors (procurement heads, F&B managers, facilities directors, etc.).
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Develop tailored proposals and product demonstrations, with a clear focus on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and food quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and long-term client success.
  • Track and report KPIs, pipeline status, and market intelligence to leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in foodservice, catering equipment, or FMCG.
  • Strong track record of selling into hospitals, hotel chains, or corporate canteens.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with a solution-led mindset and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
