About the Role

As part of ambitious growth plans to grow our UK market share, we are seeking 2 dynamic and experienced sales people to join our expanding London team. The roles require self-starters who are results driven, are proactive with a relentless drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and have a passion for the on-trade drinks market and its people.

One role will focus on growing the Cardrona Estate portfolio within key target areas of London such as Wimbledon, and Richmond and the other on growing the distribution of our Premium Malts, Gin & Rum portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and maintain a strong call plan that will allow you to build a robust pipeline of potential new customers as well as supporting the existing account base.
  • Sales Strategy: Work with channel marketing to create and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns in line with KPI’s.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with both London route to market partners as well as customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to assist with sales and training.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate contracts and close deals to maximise brand presence and profitability.
  • Work closely with the wider team: assisting with on-trade activations, events and campaigns.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify/feedback opportunities and threats.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly updates as well as monthly sales reports/forecasts to NAM and wider sales team.
  • Manage and own your professional development in order to achieve your work objectives and your career and personal goals.

About You

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance in the alcohol industry.
  • A resilient, can-do mindset is essential for the role.

Professional Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Prestige Business Development Executive or similar role in the alcohol industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Prestige alcohol market and distribution channels within London.
  • Driving Licence is a must
