Job summary

AECOM in Leeds is seeking enthusiastic Civil & Structural Engineering Apprentices to join our Bridges team. You will gain hands-on experience from concept to implementation on projects serving local, national and international clients.

You’ll work on CAD drawings, structural design support, and project administration, while developing through on-site visits and learning toward EngTech/IEng status with ICE/IStructE.

Qualifications

• GCSE and A-Level based entry for school leavers.
• Interest in software-based engineering and design (CAD, 3D modelling).
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings for bridge projects.
• Support structural design and desktop publishing tasks.
• Assist with project administration and record-keeping.
• Review and analyse data to support design decisions.
• Contribute to problem-solving and design solutions.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and observe conditions.
