Job summary

Diageo's Cardhu Visitors Centre is seeking a Brand Home Lead Guide to oversee daily operations across tours, tastings, retail and events. You’ll lead a small team, manage bookings and guest enquiries, and ensure outstanding visitor experiences at Scotland’s iconic whisky venue.

You’ll work weekends and evenings as needed, with a focus on operational excellence, compliance and delivering memorable moments for guests from around the world.

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising or supporting teams within a fast-paced hospitality, tourism, retail or visitor environment.
  • Customer-first mindset and passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence working across multiple operational areas, priorities and systems.
  • Collaborative, resilient and flexible approach, with the ability to lead by example.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across bars, visitor experiences and retail.
  • Ensure compliance with operational, licensing, health and safety standards.
  • Manage bookings, guest enquiries and Brand Home communications.
  • Coordinate stock control, cash handling and operational systems.
  • Host VIP experiences, tours, tastings and events as required.
  • Supervise Brand Home Guides and agency colleagues, supporting training, scheduling and day-to-day development.
