Job summary

Diageo Blair Athol Visitors Centre in Pitlochry, Scotland, is seeking an Experience Manager to lead delivery of exceptional visitor experiences across the Brand Home. You will oversee experiences and events, coach a high-performing team and drive commercial performance while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and public holidays, with a focus on transforming guest journeys and delivering world-class service at this iconic Scottish visitor

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across visitor experiences, retail and F&B while supporting commercial performance and KPI delivery.
• Work with Marketing and the Regional Brand Home Manager to develop events, whisky festivals and VIP experiences.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the visitor journey and continuously improve the guest experience.
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of customer service, health and safety.

About the Team

You’ll join the Brand Home Leadership Team, working alongside the Regional Brand Home Manager and central Retail and Marketing teams. Together, you’ll inspire exceptional visitor experiences, lead a passionate team and continuously evolve our events and experiences to keep our Brand Homes among the world’s leading visitor attractions.

About the Role

As Experience Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences across the Brand Home. Combining operational leadership, team development and commercial thinking, you’ll oversee our experiences and events programme while inspiring your team to create memorable moments that bring our brands to life.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of our Brand Home experience and events programme, ensuring every visitor enjoys a world-class experience.
• Coach, develop and inspire Brand Home Lead Guides and Guides, building a high-performing team focused on exceptional service.
• Drive operational excellence across visitor experiences, retail and food & beverage while supporting commercial performance and KPI delivery.
• Work with Marketing and the Regional Brand Home Manager to develop events, whisky festivals, travel trade initiatives and VIP experiences.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the visitor journey, increase commercial performance and continuously improve the guest experience.
• Lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of customer service, health and safety and operational excellence.

Experience / Skills Required

This could be the right opportunity for you if you have:

• Leadership experience within hospitality, visitor attractions, food & beverage, premium retail or another customer-focused environment.
• Experience developing and leading high-performing teams while creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing operational performance, budgets and key performance indicators.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and influence others.
• A customer-first mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences and continuously improving visitor journeys.

Knowledge of Scotch whisky and the spirits industry would be advantageous but isn’t essential. We’ll provide the training and development to help you become a knowledgeable ambassador for our brands.
