Job summary

Cats Protection is seeking a Branch Support Unit Advisor to provide proactive operational and administrative support to Volunteer Teams, Centres and regional Operations staff. The role covers communications management, enquiries handling and process coordination, helping volunteers to deliver services across the network.

The post involves coordinating engagement activities, recruitment drives, events and adhering to charity policies, while assisting with cat relocations and centre visits;

Qualifications

• Administration experience preferred in an office environment
• Customer service background with public interaction
• Proven ability to multi-task and work on own initiative under pressure
• Confident communicator, especially on the telephone
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive operational and administrative support to Volunteer Teams, Centres, and regional Operations staff, managing communications, enquiries, and departmental processes
• Coordinate and support volunteer engagement activities, including recruitment drives, events, and with charity policies, while facilitating cat relocations and centre visits
• Lead on organising meetings and events, sourcing cost-effective venues, managing logistics, and supporting project implementation across regional teams
