Job summary

Cats Protection, a UK cat welfare charity, seeks a Branch Support Unit Advisor to provide proactive operational and administrative support to Volunteer Teams, Centres and regional staff. This hybrid role involves regular travel to Chelwood Gate, East Sussex, and coordinating events, meetings and logistics to support charity operations.

Qualifications

• Administration experience in an office environment
• Customer service background with public interaction
• Confident communicator with telephone use
• Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative under pressure
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge including Word and Excel
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Able to travel away from home with some overnights

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive operational and administrative support to Volunteer Teams, Centres and regional Operations staff
• Coordinate and support volunteer engagement activities including recruitment drives and events while facilitating cat relocations and centre visits
• Lead on organising meetings and events, sourcing cost-effective venues, managing logistics and supporting project implementation across regional teams
