Qualifications

• Previous industry or merchant experience preferred.
• Experience as a Supervisor in a face-to-face sales environment is essential.
• Willingness to step up to run the branch in the Branch Manager's absence.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls to gain new business.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Branch Manager with day-to-day running of the branch.
• Supervising and supporting colleagues with guidance and feedback.
• Serving customers at the trade counter with product knowledge.
• Developing the customer base and improving retention and sales mix.
• Identifying ways to improve branch profits.
• Building rapport with suppliers.
• General warehouse duties including goods in/out and picking/packing orders.
